چکیده

Abstract – This work presents the outputs from a project which aimed to lay the foundation of a 3D ultrasound imaging system where the emphasis was on real-time data acquisition and near real-time data visualization. To be able more precisely to describe the behavior of a sparse array system, a 25 Gbyte dataset containing every transmit and receive combination of a 50× 50-element fully connected 3MHz array has been collected. The data have been processed off line on a cluster of 150 UNIX work stations to form experimental synthetic aperture 3D volume images. We propose new methods based on the principle of suppression of grating lobes to form symmetric and non-symmetric regular sparse periodic and radially periodic designs. The performance of the new layouts come close to that of dense arrays. Our designs have simplicity in construction, flexibility in the number of active elements and possibility to trade off sidelobe peaks against sidelobe energy.

Accelerating Magnetic Resonance Imaging through Compressed Sensing Theory in the Direction space-k

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive imaging method widely used in medical diagnosis. Data in MRI are obtained line-by-line within the K-space, where there are usually a great number of such lines. For this reason, magnetic resonance imaging is slow. MRI can be accelerated through several methods such as parallel imaging and compressed sensing, where a fraction of the K-space lines...

Spectral unmixing of hyperspectral images is one of the most important research fields  in remote sensing. Recently, the direct use of spectral libraries in spectral unmixing is on increase. In this way  which is called sparse unmixing, we do not need an endmember extraction algorithm and the number determination of endmembers priori. Since spectral libraries usually contain highly correlated s...

SU-F-BRCD-01: A Novel Dual Source Array Tetrahedron Beam Computed Tomography (TBCT) System for Image Guided Radiotherapy.

PURPOSE To design and test the feasibility of a novel dual source array, dual detector array TBCT system which is capable of both volumetric CT imaging as well as real-time stereoscopic x-ray imaging for image guided radiotherapy (IGRT). METHODS Besides producing improved image quality, the geometry of TBCT is also more compact and flexible. It is possible to mount two x-ray source arrays and...

Linear Array Sar 3 - D Imaging

Linear array synthetic aperture radar (LASAR) is a promising radar 3-D imaging technique. In this paper, we address the problem of sparse recovery of LASAR image from under-sampled and phase errors interrupted echo data. It is shown that the unknown LASAR image and the nuisance phase errors can be constructed as a bilinear measurement model, and then the under-sampled LASAR imaging with phase e...
